CONSIGNMENT POLICY

CONSIGNMENT TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to Styling Mrs Oliver.

We’re so pleased to partner with you. This page outlines how our consignment process works — from sending your products to getting paid when they sell.

Please take a moment to read through before we get started.

Overview

This agreement explains how Styling Mrs Oliver sells your products on consignment — including how we handle orders, payments, marketing, and more. It helps ensure we’re both clear on expectations and responsibilities.

Term

  • The agreement begins on the start date we agree to and continues until either of us ends it in writing.

  • It can be extended at any time by mutual agreement or by continuing to supply stock.

Right to Sell

By joining our consignment program, you give Styling Mrs Oliver permission to display, market, and sell your products in store and online.

Orders & Delivery

  • Orders are placed by email or through a Consignment Order Form.

  • When products arrive, we carefully check and approve them before listing.

  • Delivery timeframes are estimates only.

  • The consignor covers delivery costs and bears the risk during transit.

  • If you’re sending items directly to customers, you’re responsible for packaging accuracy and any loss or damage in transit.

Consignment & Ownership

  • All products remain your property until they’re sold.

  • Styling Mrs Oliver will take reasonable care of your items while in our possession but can’t be responsible for events outside our control (for example, natural disasters).

Pricing & Payment

  • Prices are based on the agreed Price List or confirmed in writing.

  • You’re paid for items only after they’ve sold.

  • Payments are processed monthly, within 30 days of receiving your invoice.

  • Any price changes require 14 days’ written notice.

  • We may apply customer discounts or promotions, but you’ll always receive your agreed payment amount.

Sales Reporting

At the end of each month, we’ll send you a Sales Report showing:

  • what’s sold,

  • what’s still in stock, and

  • any other agreed details.

Product Quality & Returns

  • You confirm that all items are authentic, accurately described, and in good saleable condition.

  • Any damaged or faulty items should be reported quickly (with photos if possible).

  • We’ll work with you to resolve issues — by replacement, credit, or refund.

  • Unsold stock can be returned upon request, with written notice and return shipping at your expense.

Marketing & Representation

  • Styling Mrs Oliver photographs and presents products in line with our brand’s look and feel.

  • We may refine product descriptions for consistency but aren’t responsible for any inaccuracies in materials you’ve supplied.

Intellectual Property

You grant us permission (a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence) to use your product images, names, and related content for marketing and promotional purposes while we’re working together.

Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep all pricing, business, and product information private unless required by law.

Warranties & Liability

  • Each of us confirms we have the authority to enter this agreement.

  • Liability for any loss or damage is limited to the value of the most recent consignment.

  • Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses.

  • Nothing here affects your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Ending the Agreement

Either of us can end this agreement at any time with written notice.
When that happens:

  • Styling Mrs Oliver will pay for all sold items and any outstanding amounts.

  • Unsold products will be made available for pickup within 14 days.

  • Both parties agree to return or delete any confidential information.
